Fox Silhouette

Early one morning in Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, Iceland, I encountered a blue morph arctic fox before sunrise. I had been visualizing a silhouette of a fox against the sun shot from a low angle for years, and conditions were perfect that morning to make it happen! The fox kept walking back and forth along the ridge, not giving me the shot I wanted, but then she sat down and curled her tail around her for about one second before getting up and moving on. A small piece of frozen fish was used as bait.
