The arctic fox in Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, Iceland are protected, and as a result, they are curious about humans and willing to come close if you lay still. First thing in the morning, a female fox was wandering around the cabin I was staying in, so I grabbed my camera, went outside, and lay down in the snow. She gradually came closer and closer, peeking over a ridge to see what I was. Small piece of frozen fish used as bait.
