Back Scratch

In Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, Iceland, a number of arctic fox nest, and there are a surprising number of the rarer blue morph whose coat stays dark in winter. I had been photographing this fox for a while, and then she ran away, into the rocks to take a nap. After waking up during a snow storm, she stretched and then rolled around on her back, scratching it on the snow.
