This bearded seal in a fjord in Svalbard was incredibly relaxed. It helped that we were all wearing black jackets instead of our polar bear costumes. We drifted by him in the zodiac, and he just didn't care. I held my camera over the edge of the zodiac as we came close, and fortunately he lifted his head to check us out and make sure we weren't hiding a polar bear before going back to sleep.
