South Georgia In One

South Georgia Island is an amazing experience. You sail for days, and suddenly a small bit of land appears with mountains, glaciers, and an incredible wildlife density. It's hard to capture photos that do the experience of being there justice. I was lying in the sand focusing on this fur seal at sunrise when this group of penguins walked in front of me. This shot captures the South Georgia experience to me in one shot, as it has a range of wildlife, a range of weather, and a range of landscapes, all in one frame.
