Melting Refuge

Spring in the arctic is a mix of melting ice and snow from a long winter and stunning light. In summer, walrus follow the melting pack ice and head north to find places to feed. This lone walrus went north a bit earlier than his pack and found shelter for the night on this piece of ice.
